 STRIPED BASS  Spring 2008 Prices: $750 (6 hour) $850 (8 hour) Morning, Afternoon and Night After work trips also available. Keep 3 Bass per person. Bonus Tags available Free on Board. For our Spring 2008 Striped Bass Season will be running out of Sandy Hook Bay Marina in the Highlands. Starting on April 15 through Early June. In April, most of the trips catch between 75 and 200 fish each trip. Although most of the fish were under 28" the action was second to none. In May the amount of Striper's caught per trip went down to 15-50 fish per trip but there were many more big fish. The night trips did produce some very big fish.Click here for 2008 Pictures  The average fish weighs from 5 to 20 pounds but 20+ pounders are common. and are located in the Bay and the Ocean.  In recent years this fishery has rebounded incredibly and due to the short distances traveled, you spend more time fishing. This past May consisted of almost all limit catches.
